The Woodrow Wilson Graduate School of Teaching and Learning offers an innovative program to prepare educators for the classrooms of today and to shape the classrooms of tomorrow. The master’s program is competency-based, clinically intensive, and self-paced. A Trustee Fellowship covers the entire program tuition cost for qualified teacher candidates. Applications are being accepted for the fall 2020 and fully-funded fellowships are still available.
Audubon Camp: A Week for Educators
From July 12-17, educators can visit Maine’s Hog Island to hear instructors share their favorite approaches, methods, and activities for engaging children and adults with nature. Participants also will explore an Atlantic puffin and tern colony on Eastern Egg Rock and hike the island’s unspoiled spruce-fir forest.
It's Spring Migration! What Birds are on the move?
San Diego Zoo’s Teacher Workshops in Conservation Science
The zoo’s Institute for Conservation Research, Conservation Education Division, invites middle and high school teachers and informal educators to attend these workshops. Participants engage in cutting-edge lab and field activities focusing on critical issues facing endangered species. These activities support the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and can be implemented in the classroom. Grant-funded scholarships include meals and lodging and a $500 stipend.
Distance and Home Learning Resource
Teachers and families across the country are facing a new reality of providing opportunities for students to do science through distance and home learning. The Daily Do is one of the ways NSTA is supporting teachers and families in this endeavor. Each weekday, NSTA will share a sense-making task teachers and families can use to engage their students in authentic, relevant science learning.

The HHMI BioInteractive website highlights highlights infectious disease resources featuring scientists on the front lines of combating viral epidemics, including Zika, Ebola, and Nipah. These resources are geared towards high school (general/AP/IB) and college levels.
