Amazon in Your Classroom from The Morpho Institute

Using the Indigenous Maijuna's Amazon conservation story as a case study, Amazon’s goal is to develop curriculum resources to engage students in grappling with complex real-world issues related to resource use, human rights, and conservation needs. Targeted for middle and high school levels, these online materials include six interdisciplinary lessons (e.g., Examining Landscape Change; Treasuring the Amazon; Investigating Ecosystem Services; Aiming for Sustainability in the Amazon and at Home; Calculating Ecological Footprints; and exploring Food Choices) and an online bulletin, Amazon In Your Classroom.
