Compete in the inaugural Department of Energy’s 2023 Hydropower Collegiate Competition. Join the in the Penn State team of graduates and undergraduates to tackle the question “What are the opportunities and challenges of hydropower in a 100% renewable energy power grid of the future?”
The Hydropower Collegiate Competition will coincide with Water Power Week, May 8-10, 2023, and will take place in Washington, DC. Competitors will design a concept to solve leading hydropower challenges, participate in the Connection Creation Contest and the Case Study Contest, and present their work at Waterpower Week in Spring 2023.
